Terms & Conditions

These terms form the agreement between the customer and Kidease Nursery Hire at the time of ordering. By ordering from ourselves, both Kidease and you, the customer, agree to abide by them. Please ensure you read these before placing your order with us.

Kidease Agreements

Our promise to you: All Kidease delivery & fitting persons have been thoroughly trained in the Standard Operating Procedures which cover all aspects of fitting, assembly, hygiene and safety. Each person delivering to you has undergone a thorough training program and is familiar with all policies and procedures relating to equipment safety.

Responsibilities of Kidease Nursery Hire:

(1) Kidease will be responsible for the loading and unloading, assembly and fitting of all equipment at all times. At no time can car seats, travel cots, stair gates, cots, cot beds, z-beds, play pens and other items, requiring assembly, be left for the customer to attend to.

(2) We will deliver to customers always equipment that complies with EU Safety Standards, is in safe working order and will be cleaned and prepared to the highest standard. Customers must check, at the time of delivery, that their hire equipment meets these standards.

(3) Should equipment not meet these standards, the customer may request a replacement item at no extra charge.

Car Seats: Car seats will always be fitted by Kidease; the fitting will be demonstrated to the customer. Kidease will also provide a copy of the manufactures fitting instructions. If the car seat is removed and re-fitted by any person other than an authorised Kidease member of staff then the driver of the vehicle or customer will be responsible for the safe fitting and correct use of the seat thereafter. Kidease do not accept any responsibility or liability for any injury incurred through incorrect use or misuse of the equipment during the period of hire. All car seats will be supplied with strap covers to protect the child from injuries incurred from straps grazing the skin during hard breaking conditions; it is the customers responsibility to use these.

Toys: If you hire toys that require batteries then at the time of delivery Kidease will provide fully charged batteries. Kidease cannot guarantee battery life in toys requiring these. Customers are responsible for changing batteries if they have diminished as a result of use during the hire period.

Customer Agreements

Responsibility of the Customer:

At Kidease we do not ask for deposits in order to assist our customers. However, by hiring from us you agree to take responsibility for equipment upon receipt and until it is returned to Kidease Nursery Hire. The customer shall use the equipment only for its original purpose. The customer shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that of its intended. The customers also will not leave equipment unattended in public areas where it may be stolen or damaged. Items must not be left exposed to the elements for long periods or overnight. The sun is very strong during the summer months in Spain and this can rapidly deteriorate our equipment, we ask that equipment is kept in shaded areas as much as possible. All equipment should be returned complete and in good working order. Excessively soiled items should be wiped down prior to collection as they are often required to share space on the delivery van with clean equipment.

Mattresses: Kidease will always provide waterproof mattress protectors. It is a requirement that mattress protectors must be used at all times. Kidease reserve the right to request compensation for any damage caused to the mattress through neglecting to use the protector at all times.

Non-returned, lost, stolen or damaged equipment D:

(1) The customer accepts full responsibility for the care, safekeeping and maintenance of good order of the equipment during the hire period.

(2) Where items are broken due to misuse, neglect or stolen a charge will be made for the equipment based on its depreciated value at that time.

(3) In the case of Equipment which is lost, stolen or damaged beyond economic repair the Hirer shall in all cases meet the cost of replacing the item.

Maintenance of equipment by customer:

The customer shall monitor the condition of the equipment and ensure that it remains safe and serviceable. Any breakdown or any unsatisfactory working of the equipment must be immediately notified to Kidease. Under no circumstance shall the customer repair, or attempt to repair the equipment, unless authorised by Kidease.

Termination of hire:

Kidease shall be entitled at any time, if the customer is in breach of contract, to terminate the agreement (such termination to be effective immediately) and to repossess the equipment or any part thereof.

Delivery & Payment Terms:

Payment: Full payment in cash only must be made on delivery. As we do not charge deposits we cannot leave equipment without payment. Receipts for payment are given on request. Factura receipts will require an NIE number on delivery. Delivery prior to arrival and collection after departure can be arranged if access is made available through an agent / key holder and they can make payments on your behalf until you arrive. We recommend this service for late arrivals and early departures.

Charging: The customer will pay the charge stated on their invoice upon delivery to cover the hire period required. In an event (except by special arrangement) whereby the customer continues to possess the equipment beyond the pre-paid hire period then the additional daily charges will continue until the equipment is returned to Kidease in a serviceable condition. Any additional expense incurred by Kidease in the recovery of the equipment or any fees or expenses payable shall be payable by the customer.

Cancellation: We understand that due to reasons beyond the customers control that flights and travel plans may be cancelled. At this time no charge will be made. Excluding the aforementioned circumstance a 48 hour notice period must be given on cancellations. Where an order is not cancelled, and delivery of your items is still made to your place of stay, a 20 % charge must be paid. This is due to the fact that fuel costs and equipment preparation have still been incurred by the company and if you choose to cancel upon delivery this must be charged.
